  5. Using @X0FTeleShoppe@X07 is simple, fast and fun! With TeleShopppe you may browse
  6. the items for sale. You can create quotes for comparison shopping, and of
  7. course you can purchase items via 4 different methods. (Providing the
  8. SYSOP supports these options).

  12. A description of each function follows:

  14. Main Menu
  15.  
  16. 1) @X0AList by Category -@X07
  17.  
  18.     a) This option lists item categories or however the sysop may define
  19.        them. To view a category, enter the number to the left of the
  20.        item.
  21.  
  22.     b) You may @X0Esearch@X07 for an item by entering "S". You will be asked for
  23.        the text words to search for. Each item in the database containing
  24.        the sort string will be displayed.
  25.  
  26.        1. Once a category is in the viewing mode, you may @X0EV)iew@X07 an items
  27.           extended description by pressing "V". You will be asked for
  28.           the number of the item. Once entered you will be shown the
  29.           extended description of the item if one exists. Items that contain
  30.           a (√) beside it have a extended description. Those that do not
  31.           have no additional information available.

  33.        2. You may mark an item for purchase (Flag) by entering that items
  34.           number. You will be asked for the quantity of the item. This
  35.           item may be edited from the main program.

  37.      c) If the categories listing contains over 45 listings, select 'B'
  38.         to return to the @X0EB)eginning@X07 of the list.

  40. 2) @X0AEdit marked items@X07
  41.  
  42.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to edit the items you
  43.        marked for purchase/quote.
  44.  
  45.        1. Upon entering , all items that are currently marked are
  46.           presented to the user for verification. You may keep or discard
  47.           the marked items by following the prompts.

  49.        2. If there are no more items to be listed, pressing any key will
  50.           return you back to the main menu.

  52. 3) @X0AView marked items -@X07

  54.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to view the options you
  55.        have marked for purchase/qoute. No editing of items is allowed here.
  56.        This is for quick viewing only. The top of the screen informs you
  57.        that you are in VIEWING mode only.

  59. 4) @X0AShow invoice quote@X07
  60.  
  61.     a) By selecting this option you may view what your invoice will look
  62.        like once you purchase the items you selected. Note that this is
  63.        only a quote. Each individual retailer will set a limit as to how
  64.        many days the quote is good for. (NOTE also that tax and shipping
  65.        is not included).

  67. 5) @X0ADownload quoted invoice@X07

  69.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to download the quoted
  70.        invoice. You will be asked to enter which protocol you wish to use.
  71.        @X0BThe file name will be INV_(NODE NUMBER YOU ARE ON).TXT.@X07

  73.        Example. If you are on Node 2, Your quote would be contained in the
  74.        file:

  79.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to order your items by
  80.        either @X0ACREDIT CARD, COD, CHECK, or MONEY ORDER@X07 (According to how your
  81.        Sysop accepts payment).  To begin you will enter all of your
  82.        pertinent information. All personal data is kept in the online
  83.        database. However, for consumer safety, NO Credit Card information is
  84.        ever stored in the database. This information will be entered each
  85.        time you purchase items.

  87.         1. Select payment type
  88.  
  89.         2. Enter your personal information
  90.  
  91.         3. Select the method of shipping you desire. Shipping may or may not
  92.            be included. (Depending upon how this system is setup)
  93.  
  94.         4. Edit or View the selected marked items. You may quit at any
  95.            time.

  97.         5) Continue with purchase - By continuing with the purchase you
  98.            will be charged for ALL items you have marked for purchase.
  99.            (You will be shown the ACTUAL FINAL invoice before being asked
  100.            to confirm the order.)
